Whats Growing this Winter

Winter farming is very fun with San Diego’s unique climate.  Just recently we have planted turnips which should finish quickly.  Broccoli is also a new addition.  There is also tomatoes, kale, russian red kale, amaranth, dandelion greens, salad greens, brazing greens, brussels sprouts, chard, carrots, beets, strawberries, peppers, wild flowers, fava beans, string beans, squash, zucchini, cinnamon and big leaf basil, as well as other herbs that can be used for cooking. approved
